IT support · Trades and construction

IT for businesses where half the team is on site.

Trades and construction businesses run in two places at once: an office handling quotes, invoices and payroll, and crews on site with phones and tablets. The job management system has to work in both. We look after businesses with 5 to 30 office and field staff: devices that survive the site, connectivity for yards and site offices, and the office systems that keep the money moving.

Devices that survive the site

Field crews need phones and tablets that handle dust, drops and rain, with the apps they need and nothing else. Devices are chosen for the conditions, managed centrally, and replaced in minutes when one ends up under a digger.

Connected yards and site offices

Depots, yards and temporary site offices need internet and Wi-Fi that reach where the work happens. We design and install networks for buildings with long distances and metal everywhere, and set up connections for site offices that move from job to job.

The office behind the crews

Quotes, timesheets, invoicing and payroll run through job management and accounting software such as Xero. The office computers, accounts and network are looked after on the same plan, so the paperwork keeps up with the work.

Plans, photos and records, backed up

Drawings, site photos, health and safety records and contracts end up spread across phones, laptops and inboxes. Everything is brought into shared storage that is backed up, so a lost phone doesn't take a job's records with it.

Questions people ask

Before you get in touch

Do you support our job management software?
Most job management apps run in the cloud. We set them up on every device, look after sign-in and access, and work with the vendor when the problem is inside their software.
Can you set up internet at a site office?
Yes. Temporary site offices are usually connected with a 4G or 5G router, or a satellite service where mobile coverage is poor, with the same Wi-Fi and security as the main office.
Do you install networks in yards and warehouses?
Yes, in the Auckland region. Large sites are surveyed first, then access points and cabling are placed for coverage where people actually work.
